About: In the summer of 2016, the idea to combine the Title IV-E Student Day and the Title IV-E Field Institute was put into action. The rationale for combining these events was to enhance networking opportunities, broaden statewide perspectives, and streamline logistics & event implementation. With this new format and increased attendee base (estimating 350 guests), students will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of statewide perspectives, hear from a spectrum of counties & field instructors, and gain a richer understanding of the child welfare landscape. The name of this combined event is the 2017 CalSWEC Title IV-E Summit.
