Evaluation and Research
CalSWEC Data Sets
Since its inception in 1990, CalSWEC has collected data on the career interests of MSW students in California, the retention of Title IV-E graduates in public child welfare, and the California public child welfare workforce.
All data are collected with the intention of evaluating the Title IV-E degree program in California.
Conditions for use
For all of the data sets, the survey instruments and variable lists are available to the public via this Web site. Data may also be accessed for additional research and replicate studies, subject to some restrictions due to concerns for the protection of human subjects and/or CalSWEC policies. For more information on accessing the data, please contact Sherrill Clark, sjclark@berkeley.edu.
