Title The Retention of California's Public Child Welfare Workers Principal Investigator(s): Dale Weaver and Janet Chang School: CSU, Los Angeles Project Goal: To identify the relative influence of personal, job, agency, and local economic factors that contribute to increased retention of public child welfare workers. Based on these factors, to identify specific actions that can be taken by administrators, supervisors, and workers to increase retention of child welfare workers. Project Duration: 2 years Project Status: Completed Project Outcomes: Curriculum: "The Retention of Public Child Welfare Workers" developed by Dale Weaver, Janet Chang, and Mona Gil de Gibaja. It is intended to help child welfare workers, administrators, and policy-makers increase the job retention of public child welfare caseworkers.
