Working with older adults is a deeply meaningful and satisfying experience. The growing elderly population and the aging baby boom generation have created a greater demand for health and social services, resulting in rapid job growth among gerontological social workers.  Empirical evidence shows that social work with older adults can have a positive and significant impact on their quality of life.
