Child Welfare-Informed Webinar Series Scheduled

The Research and Training Network (RTN) is sponsoring an evidence-informed webinar series focusing on child welfare that features practice-oriented research, an emerging practice model, and a review of literature.

The webinars are:

  1. March 29: “Improving Reunification Service Delivery in California: Implications from Two Recent Studies” by Amy D’Andrade, Ph.D., of San Jose State University
  2. April 26: “Signs of Safety: Implementation and Evaluation” by Susan Brooks, M.S.W., and Dr. Holly Hatton, Ph.D., of the Northern California Training Academy, and Casey Family Programs
  3. June 6: “Child Maltreatment Fatalities—Risk Factors and Lessons Learned” by Donna Pence, B.S., and Kariss Hughes, M.S.W., from the Academy for Professional Excellence

The RTN is a collaborative network of California university and Human Services Agency representatives who have come together to promote vibrant agency/university partnerships with the purpose of establishing a comprehensive strategy for practice-oriented research in the Human Services field.
