Christopher Cajski Will Lead CalSWEC’s Technology and Instructional Design Team

New Position Reflects Strategic Planning Focus       

Christopher Cajski has been hired for the new position of Director of Technology and Instructional Design at CalSWEC, effective August 8, announced Executive Director Rodger Lum.

“This position was created to reflect a key outcome of our strategic planning process to expand CalSWEC’s focus on the use of technology to improve the delivery of training to social work students and professionals,” explained Dr. Lum. Mr. Cajski will also supervise two distance education specialists and serve as a member of CalSWEC’s Executive Management Team.

“Chris comes to CalSWEC with an extensive background in educational technology and instructional design, and we are pleased to have him join our team,” said Dr. Lum.

Among his more recent positions, Mr. Cajski served as Director of Instructional Design at the e-learning powerhouse Relias Learning and as Vice-president of Curriculum Development and Research at the online continuing education company Essential Learning. Additionally, he was Co-founder and Vice-President of Product Development at the e-learning company LunchTimeCE, which offers online professional development courses for continuing education credit. 

In 2010, Mr. Cajski won the Kaiser Permanente Pinnacle Award for designing and implementing blended learning programs offered to brokers who sell KP health plans. He earned his M.A. in Education from Stanford University and his B.A. from the University of Hawaii in English and Philosophy.
