‘Continuous Quality Improvement’ Is Focus of Leadership Symposium on Evidence-Based Practice

Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is the theme of the 2015 Leadership Symposium on Evidence-Based Practice, which will be held July 15 at the University of California, Davis Conference Center.

The goals of the all-day symposium are to:

  • Provide a forum for university faculty and Human Services Agency leadership to achieve a common understanding of CQI, and
  • Create regional partnerships of those faculty and leadership that will support evaluation and research necessary for the effective implementation of CQI in each county.

The symposium will highlight the state’s successful agency/research partnerships. Additionally, county leaders will be encouraged to identify areas they will be examining in their CQI implementation; faculty will have the opportunity to help frame research questions that will guide that examination; and research partnership opportunities will be promoted.

Plenary speakers will be:

The symposium is presented by the Research and Training Network, which is composed of CalSWEC, the Child and Family Policy Institute of California (CFPIC), the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), and the UC Davis Extension Center for Human Services
