Evaluation, Research, & Implementation Activities to Improve Workforce Practice (Tier 2)

CalSWEC's Tier 2 activities promote the evaluation of emerging practices and the integration of the findings into workforce development activities. This includes funding for research and evaluation projects and partnerships to inform curriculum, organizing and participating in partnerships such as the Research and Training Network (RTN), and developing innovative training products such as Implementation Toolkits.

Research-based Curriculum Products Funded by R & D Committee

The Research & Development (R & D) Committee was established by the CalSWEC Board of Directors to encourage joint agency-school program development and evaluation activities to support CalSWEC's efforts to involve students and staff in improving the current child welfare system and social workers' sense of efficacy.

Research and Training Network (RTN)

The Research and Training Network (RTN), a collaborative network of California university and Human Services Agency representatives, promotes the sharing of resources and other research-related materials.
