View currently funded research/practice partnerships (2012–2015).
University/practice partnerships were initiated for the purpose of evaluating emerging practices or programs to inform the development of curriculum and training products for the Title IV-E Stipend and In-Service Training Coordination Programs. They are supported by the CalSWEC Research and Development (R & D) Committee.
CalSWEC’s unique partnership between the academic and practice communities offers the opportunity for producing practical, applied research and evaluation to improve California’s public social services workforce.
To encourage the connection between evaluation and workforce development, in 2012 CalSWEC’s R & D Committee for the first time solicited proposals for partnerships between schools of social work and counties or Tribal entities that would address specific priorities.
