Technical Assistance and Consultation

CalSWEC and its partners can provide an array of technical assistance options for mental/behavioral health workforce development and education, including symposia, consultation, meetings, and presentations.  

Technical assistance activities include but are not limited to:

  • Training workshops, seminars, and symposia about relevant curriculum topics, implementation of modules, and policy and practice issues for the field of social work
  • Consultation with faculty at individual Integrated Behavioral Health Program schools
  • Consultation and discussion with state and national organizations regarding development of relevant curriculum and statewide partnerships to aid in the transformation of mental/behavioral health services
  • Regional meetings with schools and county/county-contracted mental/behavioral health agencies around curriculum integration and implementation
  • Regional meetings with mental/behavioral health directors and regional partnership groups around training and curriculum issues, and
  • Public presentations to local, regional, statewide, or national organizations
