Spreading the Word

So, who needs to know about RFA? 

For starters, staff, caregivers, youth, and community partners need to be familiar with RFA and how it will impact them. Other key stakeholders may include the courts, bargaining units, and CASAs.

It is imperative that the key facts and intent of the law are well communicated to current and prospective Resource Families. Utilizing communication tools such as brochures and engagement letters are a good start.  Further, engaging caregivers in focus groups can help bring caregivers to a better understanding of the changing process. Here are some recommended ways to “spread the word” throughout your community:
