Training Resource on AB 1331: Accessing SSI to Improve the Transition for Foster Youth with Disabilities
This brief training resource is designed to disseminate vital information about AB 1331, a law in effect since January 2008 on Accessing SSI to Improve the Transition for Foster Youth with Disabilities.
There are two parts to this resource: the Trainer's Guide (for Child Welfare Managers and Supervisors), and the Trainee's Guide (for Child Welfare Workers, Supervisors, and Managers). The trainings can be delivered by a trainer, supervisor, or facilitator. Each training is designed to last about 90 minutes so that it may be provided during a regular meeting, such as a unit meeting.
